Hi everyone,
Looking to get into racing with my 10 yr old son(eddy),obviously it is a bit late in the year but he's keen to get some racing done.
Tbh we have quite a few rc's between us but have been more into bashing and crawling,we've never done it competitively and are looking for something reasonably casual to start out.
Just wondered how to start and join and what cars are accepted.
We currently have 1/10th and 1/14th electric buggy/truggy/desert truck.
i was unsure if you guys were all large scale?

Sorry for all the questions but would love to come and make up the numbers.

any help and advise much appreciated and any must haves to go racing!

HELP!

Thanks neil

Hi Neil

Sorry for the delay. You are more than welcome to come down and have a look. We are a predominately large scale club but we do have some 1/8 members.

1/14 and 1/10 would a little small but your son is more than welcome to practice around the track but we would not be able to offer any competitive racing for these scales.

If you are interested, we would suggest you pop down on a race day (our next one is 23rd October) and speak to Paul or I.

Thanks

Dane

hi just checking that me and my lad are ok to come down tomorrow, for a practice and a look to see what cars are needed to race with the rest of you
He currently has a bsd prime assault that he got a year or so ago which is classed as 1/10 scale but tbh its far bigger than any 1/10 ive ever come across, hence why I bought it as when he hit curbs etc in the early days it didn't bother it as much.
My other question is do we need any insurance of any kind? Thanks neil and edward
